What Powerhouse dancers are saying about Teagan:

“Always accepting and encouraging of all dancers, whether they are new, back to dance after years, and dancers who are there regularly.”

“Full of pizzazz!”

Teagan Nurnberger

Teagan is one of the brightest, shiniest people you will meet! She has been dancing since the age of three and has trained in many styles of dance, but tap has always been her favorite.

Teagan is a graduate from The College of New Jersey, where she was a part of the Synergy Dance Company. During her entire college career, Teagan choreographed many tap pieces for the company's performances.

Teagan has taught tap dance to dancers ages three to seventy. She has taught classes both online and in person for a variety of studios in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area. Teagan has done guest choreography for competition solos and has led tap workshops. She is excited to shae her passion for tap dance with the Powerhouse community!

A note from Teagan:

“My class is a place where I want you to let loose and just have fun. I am a goofy person, and I try to let that energy shine through in class. I love when you ask questions about the steps (so please always ask!) and know, I will always provide modifications for the tricky ones! I like sneaking some fast footwork into each class and always hope you leave with something new. One of my favorite quotes from a tap teacher is that ‘tap is a share, not a compare.’ Come as you are, we are here to share the floor together, not compare ourselves to our neighbors' ability.”
