Adrianna Poindexter
Adrianna Poindexter is a Philadelphia-based dancer, and Emmy award-winning choreographer and producer. She earned a BA in Dance Performance with a Theatre Performance minor from Stockton University, and also received training from Philadanco’s Summer Programs and Instruction & Training Program. Some of her performance credits include MJ LIVE, LEGENDS IN CONCERT, BORGATA HOLIDAY SHOW, and dancing as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers Dance Team.
In 2016, Adrianna began her journey in producing, and presented her first self-produced project, ONCE MORE, WITH FEELING, as part of the 2016 Philly Fringe Festival. She discovered a new passion for creating shows. Adrianna is the creator, choreographer and producer for HOT DAMN!, a cabaret-style dance show in Philadelphia that features a troupe of beautiful dancers. In 2021, she choreographed and co-produced a concept video entitled OTHERED. for THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER’S WILDEST DREAMS series. In 2022, she had the honor of winning a Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy for a video composite that featured OTHERED.
Adrianna’s mission is to connect with audiences by creating works that document the human experience.
