Event Description: Sip & Sway through the summertime in our Swing & Salsa Partnering Workshop with Ballroom Certified instructor, Audrey Simmons!

Mix and mingle with a cocktail and treats before learning and sampling the basics of Swing and Salsa styles. End the night practicing your new skills to a rotation of songs to complete your date night!

In this workshop, Instructor Audrey Simmons will teach you the foundations of salsa and swing, and progress through some select steps unique to each style, as well the fundamentals of how to lead and follow any partner to execute those quintessential steps. You will have time to practice the steps to different songs to apply what you've learned, help build confidence and have a fabulous night!

We're so excited to bring you this fun and unique night out to celebrate with your partner, your bestie, or your gal pal! See you there!

Level Description: This is an All Levels event. In this level, you will learn and review the basic and foundational steps of the style before adding them to a brief choreography combination. We welcome dancers of any experience level to these classes, including those with zero dance experience. Class will be taught at a slow to moderate pace to allow dancers an opportunity to grasp material. There will be a clear breakdown and instruction of movement. Choreography will most likely feature lots of repetitive movement. We typically label classes in this level that are unique styles not offered weekly.
